This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These
individuals may have general management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake
technical research and analysis, and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work
area.
The qualification is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions).
Entrance Requirements
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
- Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise AND
- Successful completion of Year 11 or the equivalent level of study. Click Here

- Successful completion of Determining Suitability Assessment
Centurion College Entry Requirements for Pathway Entry:
- Successful completion of BSB50210 Diploma of Business with Centurion College will be able to directly enter BSB60210 Advanced Diploma of Business.

Pathways into the Qualification
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or
superseded equivalent versions).
Or
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role
in an enterprise
Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points demonstrating potential to
undertake vocational education and training at advanced diploma level, including:
- BSB50120 Diploma of Business or other relevant qualification
Or
- with substantial vocational experience in a range of environments, acting in a range of senior support or technical roles.

Course Delivery
Classroom based training sessions to develop the knowledge and theoretical understandings
Assessment
The assessment process includes the gathering of evidence to demonstrate the student’s competence.
Students are assessed using written questions, observation/practical demonstrations, projects
RPL / Course Credit
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Course Credit is offered to students through the enrolment
process.
Completion
At the successful completion of the course students will be awarded with the “Testamur” and a “Record
of Results” which provides detailed Units of Competency completed in the course.
At the Partial Completion of the course students will be awarded with a “Statement of Attainment” which
will detail only the Units of Competency that student has achieved competency from the course.
