Support Services

The Centurion College is committed to provide support to students to achieve their learning goals and achieve academic progress towards meeting the learning outcomes of their chosen course. High quality support services are provided to students by maintaining sufficient support staff to meet the needs of all students enrolled with Centurion.
Services provided by The Centurion College are at no additional cost to the students. Where external support services may be required, Centurion will not charge the students for the referral.

Orientation

Services Provided

The Centurion ensures that all students receive support to study. An orientation program is compulsory for all students prior to starting their course. This program is conducted at the beginning of each course intake and where a student is admitted to a course late, the Compliance Manager will go through the orientation on an individual basis.

The orientation program will provide the following information and THA will ensure that the program is culturally sensitive so as not to offend any student.

Students are provided with a range of learning support options and resources to help them meet course requirements and maintain attendance. This includes:

Welfare Services

Welfare services can include services that address equity issues, peer mentoring, programs promoting social interaction, stress-management. It may also include advice on academic and study issues. For more sensitive issues The Centurion offers a referral service to Life Resolutions at no additional cost

They provide individual advocacy, information and support to people with a disability via our network of advocates.
